Ana & Jonathan
When Ana contacted us, right from the start she said she wanted us to film her wedding. She began by telling us that it was not going to be the traditional wedding, but she was planning a getaway cruise hosting the reception on-board the ship. She rather invest her money on photography and cinematography and partying all weekend with family and friends. I must say, I totally agreed with her because a destination wedding lasts for days. To top it off, we would be working alongside Photography by Santy Martinez which we work great together and feed off each others creativity.
November 11 arrived and everyone was set to sail, but first we had to capture getting ready as well as the ceremony which was scheduled before sailing. Ana was getting ready at her parent’s house and she was being beautified by Karla Lola Hair and Makeup. It was an early start, but it would pay off in the end. Ceremony was at St. Jude Catholic church and right after we headed to the ship, the Norwegian Sky. I have to say, it was a gorgeous November day, actually November weekend. So you ask, what else happenend on the ship? Well what happens on the Sky, stays on the Sky, but I will say this, this is one tight family. Everyone was here to make this weekend memorable and as all their ladies sang to them during the reception, “NOTA, PA LO SOTO NOTA”…
Ana and Jonathan, I could not have asked for a better way to come back from a 9 month retirement… You guys were great to work with and god bless your family and friends as well as your marriage. Hope you enjoy the teaser.
