Tatiana’s Greatest Fight

Let me get right to the point… Cancer Sucks and Tatiana is fighting for her life after this horrible disease attacked her while being pregnant with her newborn daughter. Tatiana had everything going for her. She married the love of her life, Chris about 2 years ago. We were fortunate enough to capture the moment. I will never forget my communication with her. She was determined that she wanted for us to film her wedding and if she couldn’t have us, she wanted no one else. About a week before her wedding, her mom called me that she wanted to hire us if we were available. Everything happens for a reason. We were available and her mom requested not to tell Tatiana so that it would be a surprise. I remember the day as it was yesterday as I walked into her room. Tatiana was glowing with happiness as she was surrounded with family and friends. At the same time, Chris was full of joy. Thinking back to their day, Chris is one tall teddy bear. The moment those church doors opened, Chris was already crying from how emotional he was and even more emotional as his beautiful bride was walking down the isle. Reception was another memorable moment as they partied with family and friends and truly enjoyed their wedding day. I recall sitting down to edit their teaser and I took a risk with the song selection. They are true fans of Shrillex so I knew the energy matched a Shrillex song and took the risk. It was a hit. They were floored with their teaser. I will never forget when they came to pickup their final product. Chris looked down at me and told me he never wanted video, but was so glad we were there to capture the moment as it will allow them to relive their day for a lifetime.

As you can see we build a friendship. A friendship that remains to this date. I followed their progress especially the moment I saw on facebook that they were expecting. I knew they were going to be great parents. They were beyond happy and looking forward to being parents, never expecting what was to come. I never knew she was having complications until that dreadful day in August when I saw a post from a friend of theirs saying that Tatiana was fighting for her life. Tears just started falling from my eyes. WHY???? Not them. They are the perfect couple. The perfect parent figure. As the days passed, I stayed up to date via facebook on her progress. She was diagnosed with Cancer and was determined to fight it. As someone posted on her facebook page, “A mother is a daughters best friend 💕 a daughter is a mothers reason to keep fighting”

Tatiana is a fighter. She is not giving up and is fighting to beat this nasty disease called Cancer. Her strength is her daughter as she says in the recent interview (link below), she is thankful to her daughter for saving her life. Please watch her interview below.
