About four years when we published our first Same Day Edit, Andrenella reached out and said she wanted us to film her wedding in the future… From that point on, Andrenella & Nelson were one of our #1 fans. They followed us throughout the years until their day came. I recall her reaching out to me right after they became engaged to confirm the date she had selected was available on our side. In fact, if I recall correctly they even hired us before even knowing where their reception would take place.

We went ahead and scheduled a meeting. During the meeting I asked Andrenella how her sisters were? She looked at me and asked how do you know my sisters. Funny enough she had no idea I had gone to school with her sisters and all along I thought she knew of us because of her sisters. After they booked us, Andrenella and I stayed in touch throughout her journey of finding a venue for her reception. Each time she would reach out to ask for my opinion. Through this we built a friendship. As the day neared, I assisted with her timeline and gave her many pointers of what to expect for the day off… At the same time, they had hired Alina M. Photography to capture their stills. Right then and there, I knew it was going to be an easy day. Alina M. Photography and House of Films work hand in hand. I called her up a couple of days before to figure out the game plan. From first look location, to artistic shots. She was able to go by the hotel and scout out to find the perfect first look spots. The great thing about Alina M. is that she is a go with the flow kind of photographer and best part is that she is easy to work with and works with us and not against us.

Finally Saturday 1/31/15 had arrived… Another beautiful Saturday in Miami. Wedding Bells were ringing. House of Films arrived early morning at their getting ready hotel, Viceroy, in Brickell. When we walked into Andrenella’s room, the energy was pumping… All bridesmaids were enjoying the day and only giving positive vibes to Andrenella. To top it off, she had hired Marz Makeup and Hair to beautify all in the bridal party. At one point, the energy was so grand, that even Marz’s team was jamming out and enjoying the moment, to the point that Marz had her phone out and filming everyone dancing.

First look arrived and we selected a spot right by the river. It was the picture perfect spot. Well picture and video perfect spot. As Andrenella approached, Nelson turned around and was able to admire his about to be wife walking towards him. His reaction was priceless as you can see a smile from ear to ear. From there we headed to St. Hugh Catholic Church in Coconut Grove and then the reception was in Andrenella sister’s home. Everything was went as planned… To end the night, Andrenella and Nelson hired a Junkanoo Band in memory of when Nelson proposed which was at Atlantis in the Bahamas. All I can say is that this band had all guests on their feet…

Andrenella & Nelson, as you take on this new journey in your lives together, as many have told you, there will be great times and there will be hard times, but in the end the love each of you has for one another will help you surpass the hard times.
